About

Jimmy Wong is an architectural illustrator with over ten years of experience in interior design. He began his career designing bespoke interiors before transitioning to a full-time artist in 2024. His work captures the character and atmosphere of buildings and urban spaces through intricate hand-drawn illustrations.

Specialising in pen and ink, Jimmy employs traditional drawing techniques to bring architecture to life. His illustrations celebrate both grand landmarks and overlooked details, reflecting a deep connection to the built environment. He believes in slowing down and appreciating the process, treating each drawing as a meditative practice.

In 2025, Jimmy’s pen-and-ink drawing of Kowloon Walled City received the Hand-Drawn Award in the Archisource Drawing of the Year Awards, recognising his craft and storytelling through architecture.

Through his art, Jimmy invites others to pause and appreciate the beauty of architecture, bringing a sense of warmth and connection into the spaces they call home.
